Robert Catalusci – Production Designer
Robert is an independent writer/director/producer. He studied Fine Art in England, France, Italy and Greece. Robert is a graduate of the San Francisco Art Institute where he received the Golden Seal Award and the Chauncey Mc Keever Award. He returned to SFAI the following year as Visiting Artist Faculty. Robert is the recipient of numerous commissions including Lead Artist for San Francisco Municipal Rail Ways, Lead Artist for the San Francisco Bureau of Architecture, Capp Street Project and Southern Exposures Gallery. Robert wrote, directed and produced “Humilious” his ground breaking original play performed live on the steps of City Hall Downtown Los Angeles, CA. He represented the USA at the 5th Chengdu Up-On International Live Art Festival in China. Where he performed live, showcased his world premier video installation “Showbear” and lectured at University. Including the Sichuan University Art Museum, (China), The Conservatory of Music Chengdu, (China), JZFZ Art Space Museum, (China). Following with his exhibition at the Five Points Contemporary Art Museum Victoria, Texas. Robert is featured in Details Magazine, Art Papers, Los Angeles Times and SF Weekly. He now lives in Richmond VA.
