Where: The Len, 15 North 17th Street

What: Ever wondered what it would be like to be in the fashion industry? Take the night to find out.  Spend a night among the creatives behind the 804 fashion industry in this interactive art experience. Live exhibits. Professional photographers. Pose in front of curated installations, meet with local designers about their inspiration for their debuting collections, or mingle with the models and learn how to get your best angle. When it comes to art, your imagination is the limit in this Creative Suite.

Event: RVAFW First Friday’s Cultural Art Experience

When:  Shopping begins at 6 pm, fashion show at 8 pm

Where: Deco at CNB

What: It wouldn’t be a First Friday without fashion, art, vendors, and shopping! And where better to host an event than in the heart of Richmond’s historic Art District at the 1920’s landmark–the Deco building. Filling this vibrant, breath-taking space with an exclusive fashion showcase including MOXEY, DIMEZ, ETERNAL STYLE and NIQUELLE that you don’t want to miss! The event will just be full of surprises. This collaboration between fashion designers, small businesses, prominent artists, and RVA Fashion Week will be a night to remember.

Event: Urban Academy

When: 7:30-9:30 p.m.

Where: Studio Two Three, 3300 W. Clay St. 

What: Produced by one of RVA Fashion Weeks' own, the new brand Urban Academy makes its debut on the runway as a community partner. The goal of this year’s Urban Academy Show is to shed light on the current economic divide and environmental crises happening through a modern twist of collegiate wear.  Enjoy runway collections from Urban Academy, The Aziancy, and Hugh by Fitz.

Event: Wellness Wednesday

When:  All Day 

Where:  Local Participating Business Establishments

What: On this day we encourage the fashion community to visit local businesses that promote wellness through physical fitness, healthy food, emotional healthcare, and access to professional health care to keep us physically and emotionally healthy. We will provide a schedule of different businesses that will participate and we would love for you to join us. Wellness Wednesday benefits St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
